Trying to turn left from either side of Millbrae Ave. is so dangerous that I am surprised more people haven't died there. It is a very busy intersection, the lights at Todd (north) and Expressway (south) are timed such that there are very few breaks in traffic, making it even harder to turn. Adding in the fact that people turning right try to "jump ahead" rather than taking their turn, I'm amazed anyone ever has the chance to turn left. What is the required number of deaths at an intersection before a light is installed? Obviously, despite the number of accidents and near accidents I have seen, that death toll has not been reached.
