Description

The crosswalk at Telegraph and 58th Street is extremely dangerous. You can barely see the crosswalk paint as a pedestrian or driver. Pedestrians have to cross 4 lanes of traffic with cars travelling at highway speeds. At a minimum, the crosswalk should be repainted with high visibility pain and beyond that, lighting and additional signage should be added. This crosswalk has a church and afterschool program at the west side of Telegraph, and a medical facility on the east side of Telegraph, so it is highly utilized. We should not have to wait for a fatality for those most basic elements to be added to an extremely dangerous crosswalk that is frequently used.
