Description
The bushes in the median of Stanford Ave, north of the bike/ped path connecting King and Adeline, are overgrown again. This makes the path very dangerous as car traffic heading southwest on Stanford and path users headed toward King St cannot see one another very well. These bushes were cut back just last year but are already overgrown again. The only permanent and safe solution is to remove the bushes entirely and replace them with lower-growing plant cover or grass.

I am reopening this issue as absolutely nothing has been done to resolve this issue, just like the last time I reported it. A picture is attached to this comment showing the bushes in the exact same condition (or worse) as when I reported them in June.
What needs to be done is to have these bushes north of the pathway completely removed and replaced with grass or a low-growing planting that will not block the view of path users from cars and vice versa. At the very least the existing bushes should be cut down significantly, but this is basically a waste of time and energy since they will just grow back within a number of months.
Please take this issue seriously and do something about this problem before someone is injured or killed.

Thanks for staying on this, Robert. I travel a similar path with the same problem: the crosswalk between the Ashram on Stanford and its crosswalk mid-block. I believe its the same type of plants (lily of the nile) and have almost swiped a pedestrian a few times because there's 3' vegetation on both sides of the crosswalk, in the median.
Cars travelling 30+ mph don't have time to see the limited movement of bikes/peds with that coverage.
