When the light was "broken" last week it was letting more cars through. Now that Roswell Transportation indicated that they "fixed" it, cars are backing up well past Kent Rd between 7:05am and 7:45am. For 1 hour during the day (7am - 8am) the traffic on Etris Rd should be prioritized using the Traffic Management System. This will alleviate the crush of cars heading to Sweet Apple.
First step is to repair the road sensors. If they were broken due to the road construction, then make the construction crew pay for the repairs. We cannot wait until August when this project is complete for our sanity to return.
Thank you for contacting the City of Roswell Department of Transportation. Your request has been assigned to one of our team members and will be reviewed in the order of priority.
So many cars these days are driving down the wrong lane on Etris or cutting through the church parking lot in order to make the left turn onto Hardscrabble all due to this ridiculous light. The unintended consequences of poor traffic management. Nobody deserves this level of road rage at 7am on local streets. Save it for driving down 400...
Is this going to be addressed? This morning at 7:27 the traffic on Etris was backed up to Manor Creek Ct. This causes people to go into oncoming traffic to try to cut through neighborhoods or the church parking lot to bypass traffic. Please provide an update to this issue.
Yes, Sorry for the inconvenience, this is due to the sidewalk project at the intersection. The timing was adjusted today to help with the traffic flow.
