All that is holding up the electrical power line from the utility pole is twisted wire and even that is coming undone. No question to being a Code violation by the NEC code, however this is also a life safety violation. The sagging wire is low enough that a small truck could snag it and pull it easily down and then we have a brand new problem to deal with.

Seems to be a dangerous situation in process here. Hopefully this will be remedied by Duke in a way that follows code regulations and soon!!

So here is the deal. I find a serious Code violation, and you don't inform or call the end user and inform them that they have a problem...and so when the wire falls, someone dies.......I will mention in passing to the building owner that the city was informed and fell flat on their face....... It is a code violation, maybe not the city code violation but none the less it is a code violation........ So if you don't care to do your job and enforce codes that speaks volumes about the city.....

I just got a memo today that it has been reopened. I only hope and pray that the city will make the right choice and call the clinic or the land management company. It is still a dangerous situation.
