Also, along with a Yield traffic sign for the vehicles coming out of Salem Woods, it would also benefit to place a sign for those vehicles coming out Glennwood to maintain speed limit crossing Lynnhaven. I have seen many vehicles gun it as they try to make the light, adding to the issues of folks making a left turn. I have made thousands of left turns out of Salem Woods and had dozens of near misses from those speeders who punch it coming out of Glennwood.

I agree that left turns must yield; however, I have seen many cars making that right turn coming from the south that just stop there when the light is green. So, when I'm making my left turn out of Salem Woods, I yield, but those right turn cars are all stopped. There's a traffic standstill, everyone's wasting time, so I just go ahead and make my left turn anyway after waiting too long for the opposite side. This happens about half the time.
