Most of Lawrence is 60 Km/hr except for west of Don Mills where a tree-foliage-blocked/inset sign (on the N-W corner of Don Mills & Lawrence) declares 40 km/hr. West bound traffic accessing Lawrence from side streets or making a turn from Don Mills, and from the Plaza do not see any warning of this exceptional speed limit on Lawrence Ave in the GTA. A speed trap at the crest of the hill west of the Donway sets a fine example of the integrity/sense-of-purpose of our legal justice system.
