this is still an issue and now they have closed Bayview south of river so that all the Bayview traffic needs to ramp off at river. adding to this is that some of the traffic wants to turn left even though there is a no turn sign. there seems to be no monitoring of the no left turn so everyone continues to do this. there is a sign that the southbound lane of Bayview will reopen on the 30th of September but it doesn't look promising

supposed to be done by the end of April but it is still going on. now it is mid May. no update posted as to when it will be done. really hoping it will be soon

it is now the 11th of June and no sign of the work being completed. there is no change in signage to say how long it will be. the only sign posted still says end of April 2014. it would be nice if someone involved in the construction could erect a sign to let all the motorists that are suffering the slow down every day know when it will end.

MIRACULOUSLY, it was actually finished by the 31st of august as they promised. there are now 3 lanes southbound and 2 lanes north bound again.
