Good day. I am trying to find the contact person or department which handles potholes repairs. During the 12 years that I have resided on Burtwood Lane (23224) this street has never been plowed or anything else done to it and I am tired of driving in potholes while every other street around me gets fixed! There has been 3 orange and white city signs covering holes in the street directly in front of my house since around February or March- from the City supposedly filling in the ditches with gravel that had held water for about 8 years before I called the environmental dept about it. Orcutt, Bryce, Richdale, Titus which surrounds our 3 block long section of Burtwood have all recently been repaired and paved and once again we have been ignored as if our taxes are not good enough. I have even witnessed the neighbors guess being towed out of the ditch which was filled with gravel & appears to be part of the road because the City has not returned to finish the job they started in February or March and folks think it is apart of the street. The gravel from the so called filled in ditch flies up whenever we drive down the street and this is ridiculous that we are repeatedly ignored by no one returning to repair this mess they left. I want the holes in our street repaired, the gravel solidified or whatever needs to be done to prevent other cars from sinking through the gravel and the street paved so my car will not continue to be hit by gravel whenever I drive in and out of my driveway. My next result if nothing is done is to call channel 8 again like several years ago when the city would not clean up their woods where the ditch is located; this seems to be the only way to get results from the City!
