I agree that the speed sign should be replaced & it used to be 70kmph. This specific area in question is close to the end of the city limits .

The 40 kmh sign is the city limits. west of that is Buckland RM.

The area in question needs a speed sign because there are too many maniacs driving recklessly. The police should set up radar they could make a ton of money for the city!

By law, you aren't supposed to speed up until you are able to see a sign stating otherwise. I know which area you're talking about. When I saw the sign was gone, I assumed they took it down so people of 40 around that curve instead of 70. I didn't realize that reducing speed on a narrow curved road could be a bad thing.

There is a 50km sign posted as you are about to go around the curve but it can be barely seen because of trees in the way. It sure needs some trimming!!!

A big thank you to whoever trimmed the trees where the 50km speed sign is just before the curve on Riverside Drive!! Nice to know that there are still some caring people in this world. THANK YOU!
