Dave from Code Enforcement & Starling Extermination Services were here from nearly 3 hours on Aug 3rd. Mr Starling sprayed both the inside & outside of the house & then fumigated the inside with the intent to come back again this week for a second dose. I am glad to see that something is being done since I am one of the people that hired an exterminator, for 49 Glen Ave, not to mention the cans of spray & bottles of bleach that we are using. It's unfortunate that the house got as bad as it did.

Glad to hear the promised work was done.

I think its Staring Rodent & Pest Control rather than Starling. If I'm right, the city brought in one of the best to take care of it. Mr. Staring is a native of the neighborhood.

I would like to thank the Code Enforcement Officer's for trying to clean up the mess left by the Gaunay & Michaels families. But as a resident of Glen Ave a lot more still needs to be done to get that house cleaned up and get rid of the roaches, garbage and the awful smell they left behind.
I just don't see any resolution or relief coming soon enough. Please help and get us some answers.

Dave Sheeran from code enforcement is a good guy who will eventually take care of a problem but you gotta keep bugging him about it.

As a resident of Glen Ave, I really don't care what they are going through. So you need to mind your business, we did not ask them to let that house get so nasty and have the roaches running up the side of as if it was a freeway. You can help them clean it up since you are so concerned about it..

it is a federal affence to post peoples buisness on the comp..so as a friend of thiers i'm going to print this page out and give it to them so when they go to court they can show the judge and then all of you will pay.

Fusterated - You probably should have paid better attention in English class. Your grammer and spelling is riotous! There is no slander occurring here; Only the truth. The truth is WHOMEVER was renting that property failed in their stewardship and allowed the conditions to get to the point where eviction was required. Also, WHOMEVER owns the property failed in their duties as property owners to ensure that THEIR property was PROPERLY occupied and maintained. The fault lies with the tenants and the property owner for allowing the conditions that GOOD and UPRIGHT citizens living on those two blocks MUST now deal with. Your friends should be thankful that a class action suit hasn't been brought against them by the other affected property owners, who are now shelling out the bucks to ERADICATE an issue CREATED by these individuals that were lacking in basic cleanliness skills. And, again, I'm not hiding behind an alias. I'm not ashamed of standing up, standing out and speaking my mind.

the same family was kicked out of their last house on Lincoln ave. And the same problems with garbage and smell were here. The house is still empty and is unliveable that was 4 years ago.

They are "trash" if they were living in such squalor that the roaches got so numerous that they effected neighboring buildings.

yes i do work very hard i work up to 10 hours a day..plues take care of my child.i understand what all of you are talking about but do you really have to post a blog about it.dont you think that it is being just a little childish to post someone buisness on the comp...i mean how would you like it if someone did that to you...you have all right to be @#$% off...i would to.but you cant only blame it on them..that whole bl;ock has problems and it needs to be fixed..i think they just need to do something with that house and then start dealing with all the drugs and other abanded places on that block
