Description
We have been complaining for years regarding the speeding cars in this street. We just had another accident on SW 64th Way in Pines Village and this time it's on the news. We need stop signs on this street desperately; so many children walk this area to go to school. Let's not wait for someone to die.

I had requested the paperwork for the speed hump installation to get the signatures. However, the ordinance indicates the following on Section 3:
"The installation of speed humps shall be the last step measure in a comprehensive plan for reducing vehicle speed and for discouraging cut-through traffic movements in a residential area. Prior to the installation of speed humps, the City shall attempt less drastic measures such as the installation of additional signage, increased enforcement of traffic regulations, or other measures which may be recommended by the City's professional staff."
How do we get the city to start attempting installation of additional signage and increased enforcement? We have no police presence in this street that is a known for speeding.
