That is not a mistiming. It is intentional. The traffic signals along woodfield (and most main roads) are coordinated to a certain length of time in seconds (120, 150,240, etc...) So if the maximum time has elapsed on the main road, it will recycle to keep coordination with the other signals nearby. If it stayed green it would cause traffic unnecessarily at other signals. So unnecessary as it seems, it is actually necessary to keep traffic flowing properly.
