Description

3 street drains needs bars added to prevent balls and children from rolling into sewers from the adjacent ANCS Elementary School playground.

I noticed bars were added on Bass St and Grant St, but we still need bars on the drains at Bass and Oakland Ave. Oakland Ave is at the bottom of the hill by the ANCS Elementary playground, so balls often roll down the road into the drains.

The sewer openings on Oakland and Bass remain a problem.

Please keep this on the city priority list. Balls stuck in the sewer lines could cause flooding.

Good morning, Loren. Thank you for bringing attention back to this issue as we were not on SeeClickFix in 2016. We have issued Service Request 1146727512 for storm drain grates/covers in this area to be looked into by Watershed Management.

Good morning, Loren. We see that the case was closed on 09/04/2019 with notes from Watershed Management that the crew removed and replaced the damaged catch basin. If it is in need of repair again, please let us know and we will open another case for the matter.
