This has been an ongoing problem that has progressively gotten worse. During heavy rains, our food warehouse becomes flooded with rain water backing up from the drains. On Friday, September 21, a crew from the Water Dept did clear some of the lines in the alley but as you can see from the attached photo the problem has not been resolved. We distribute food to the hungry and poor in our community. Flooding in our warehouse jeopardizes our ability to provide safe food along with a safe environment for the hundreds of volunteers who support the mission.
