Description
In between Shoney's and the Gerst Haus on Interstate Drive (between James Roberston Pkwy and Woodland Street) the road has several "dips" that are like driving over potholes, most likely caused by a poor foundation underneath the pavement. It looks like a very heavy vehicle (big rig?) sank into the pavement and left permanent dips behind in the center lane. It's been this way for several years (a decade or more?) as this is part of my daily commute. Isn't the road long overdue for foundation repair and repavement? This is a highly traveled road for those of us leaving downtown from James Robertson Pkwy in order to access the on-ramp onto I-24 South / East. This would be a good investment since many of our money-spending tourist may use this road too.
