This is becoming a huge issue, the encampment just gets bigger and bigger and no one seems to care about it. This needs to be cleaned up!!!

Periodic reminder to always confirm if issue is actually resolved when City of Oakland Call Center closes it. They've fraudulently closed hundreds of issues on this site without actually resolving them. Always double check to make sure they're doing their job! So many requests on this block are simply being filed under "abandoned auto" even if they are not abandoned autos. I think someone in the city has decided to "bury" complaints on this block.

From what I recall that's how the City deals with homeless issues... the section that deals with it is the "Abandoned Auto" detail. So not buried, but it does take forever... if the city does anything about it. CleanJingletown knows more about it than I... CJ?

Who says I don't? I just find it curious how you knowingly vote for corrupt government officials, then complain about their corruption. I also assume that the problems your elected officials are causing are not going to deter you at all from voting them back into power during the next election cycle, yes?

Sometimes, just as we post photos when we report something, the city should do the same...especially when "addressed" doesn't come close to explaining what (if anything) was done. As of yesterday afternoon, it remains the worst I've ever seen it.

The city should report who it is that's closing these issues. I've seen them randomly fake-close issues in the middle of the night. Who in the city government is up at like 3 AM randomly closing issues? we need some accountability so we can pursue disciplinary and/or legal action against this individual

Somewhere around 8/4 or 8/5 I noticed a garbage truck and a cleaning crew in this area. I think they cleaned up some of the trash, so that's why they closed it. Of course, they left more trash than they cleaned up.
