In August and September, rodent sightings were again reported on lower Henderson, Berwick and Nashua Sts.

A more recent report was made of rodent sightings on Richardson St in the same area.

Subsequent reports have been sent to 311, the Mayor, Alderman and committee on Public Health and Safety. Please update this file with all subsequent rodent sighting 311 notifications.

Area continues to be plagued by rodents. Sloppy disposal of trash, unkempt property and most of all, the continued construction on the Maxwell's Green site without propoer baiting BEFORE underground disturbances, has contributed to the problem. Inspectional Services has been responsive to several requests for assistance. City needs to address the issue with stronger response, not just ticketing private residences for overgrowth of weeds.

Spring 2013 - lower Hinckley continues to have rodent issues. Rodents have been sighted further up Nashua, Henderson and Richardson. Several problem properties have been reported to ISD. Still no results. Rodents are still prevelant in area.

At least 14 residents of this area have called and reported rat activity. This issue is far from closed. Our next step unfortunately will be to begin a public campaign to notify residents of the inability of the city to address our problems.

Rat infestation continues to be a problem on Nashua, lower Henderson, Hinckley, Richardson and most of the Lowell St. area around Maxwell's Green.

Work order # 263848 has been submitted to the inspectional services office for review. Also, please download the "Commonwealth Connect" app to report rodent or other city related issues. The new app is directly tied to our work order management system. The City had not been previously working with SCF so we are working on follow up for any older/outstanding issues.
