Three posts in a row are broken off at the bottom, so the fence is still standing, but is very loose and ready to fall. The fence is also too low, all the surround fences are much higher. A 5-6 ft. fence would be more appropriate.
Please repair the fence and set it into the ground. We get all kinds of things coming into our yard both under the fence and over the fence since it is not tall enough. Surrounding fences are 6 feet tall. We immediately abut the asphalt playground.
And please replace with a solid fence. Every year we have to pick up all the leaves on the county side because you can't be bothered to do leaf clean up yourselves. Otherwise they all migrate into our yard. Those 30-40 bags of leaves you mysteriously find (and remove) are because of our efforts doing what the county should be doing itself.
Please replace with a solid fence. Not only do leaves come through the fence, but the wind blows all of the trash up against the fence and that's what we look at; candy wrappers, napkins, grocery bags. Very unsightly.
Yes, as my property is adjacent to the Madison Center playground, please replace this eyesore of a fence. It is falling down (as noted above), and the County does not properly maintain the grounds on the other side. The metal supports of the fence are actually dangerous to anyone who comes in contact with them. I, too, am tired of trash, used condoms, beer bottles, leaves, tennis balls, and other junk coming over, under and through the chain-linked fence. Please replace with a solid wood fence. Thanks!

Staff has visually inspected the fence and does not see any immediate hazards. Staff is determining who owns the fence and if the County owns it, repairs will be made or the fence could be taken down. Generally the County doesn't put fences around Community Centers; however this is an old fence and policies may have changed.
