City easement directly behind property 4811 Caris St. Houston, TX 77091 on Tidwell Rd. drains heavily into my backyard. We purchased this home in February. With the heavy rains yesterday, an extensive amount of water pooled in our backyard creating a lake and the potential for flooding into our home. We are extremely worried with any tropical system, that water will come into our house because of improper grading/leveling of the city's easement property. I request that the city easement property be graded and leveled so during heavy rains water will not flood our backyard and house. There are storm drains on the easement. The property needs to be graded towards the drains so water flows away from the houses.
