Description
this vehicle has been abandoned in front of my home for (1) month. I reported it to the Coatesville PD on 3/28/13. On April 5th it was tagged with a bright Red sticker advising the owner the car had been deemed abandoned and would be towed at the Owner's expense. However, the car was never towed, nor was the car ever moved. AND whomever owns the car decided they would simply remove the ABANDONED CAR sticker. But here is an additional issue... in the numerous calls I have attempted to make to the Coatesville PD, no one answers the dispatcher phone. (610-384-2300). Not only does no one answer, there isn't even a recording that alerts a caller they have reached the Police Department. Or a recording that gives the hours of operation or allows a resident to leave a message. I have resorted to sending faxes to the Coatesville PD. I would hate to imagine what a City resident would do if they relied on this number for help during a legitimate emergency.
