Description
The new bike rack at the Farmer's Market was installed in a flower bed. Which would be fine, except the ornamental grasses have since grown in, and are now blocking access to full use of the rack.

Angela: I forwarded this issue to Property Management, they were supposed to remove the grasses before installing the bike rack (it would make sense, right?)
Other than the obvious gardening problem, how well does this bike rack work as a rack/location? Do we need a different surface under it? Is the mulch ok?

Thanks James, for the speedy follow-up. I'd say:
- The location in terms of proximity to the entrance, not blocking pedestrians while permitting easy access, etc, etc looks great.
- The surface (mulch) was fine under yesterday's conditions. No problem there.
- The only possible concern I can see is what it's going to be like after a hard rain. It could drain and be fine, or it could end up a big goopy mess. Hard to tell.
At this point I'd be happy with just the grasses removed, but I reserve the right to complain further as the need arises :-)
