Q. Please describe in detail the issue.
A. Noise issue. River Oaks District cooling tower located on the upper floors of the parking garage is so loud it disturbs the peace and quiet of the neighborhood; constant rumbling of the motors of the cooling tower (which runs almost 24/7 during the hot summer months) must be over the allowable decibel limits for our area. There are condos, apts., and townhomes that must listen to this roar all the time. Can the city required them to put up a sound buffer/barrier???
