  in walnut Creek it is illegal (non code compliant) to park a trailer, camper, commrcial vehicle on the lawn, driveway or anywhere within the front yard area. It is also illegal to park any of these vehicles for more than 72 hours on the street. The first is a code violation, the later is a WC police issue.

  It is in the municipal code. You can go to code and do a search for trailer and it will lead you there. The street parking is WC PD

  Did just as you said and feel that the code says this is not permitted. not surprised, this does not look good for the community

  in my opinion is does make the community look good. It helps the valuation of our properties which look better than the trashy yards in Pleasant Hill and Concord. WC had this on the books probably 50 years plus. Arpung 30 years ago a lot of cities tried to ban trailers and RVs and were defeated by the state.

  Thank you for the information. The City will look into this. The trailer appears to be on a gravel pad in the front yard offset rather than on the lawn.

  But it is still within the 20 ft setback from the property line which is typically around 28 to 30 ft from the curb line.
