Description

Three streets (Northwood, Southwood, Gibbons) converge in a circular area in front of my house. There is only one stop sign (Southwood), and there is often confusion about yielding, which leads to honking. The bigger issue, however, is the speed with which many cars travel through this intersection, usually along Gibbons coming from High Street. There are no signs where Gibbons meets the convergence and cars blow through going 40 or so all the time. And every once in a while, as happened last night around 10PM, someone will rev their engine and do donuts all through the intersection, leaving black tire marks all over the road. I don't know what the fix should be, but there needs to be something. Stop sign? Yield? Probably more like speed bumps or a roundabout, something so people don't speed through or do Fast and Furious-type stunt driving.
