Junk TV still there on 3/5/13. Why addressed and closed?

This issue was reviewed by the Champaign Public Works Department and was forwarded to the Code Compliance Division of Neighborhood Services for resolution. Code Compliance is responsible for the enforcement of property maintenance codes and coordination of efforts to achieve compliance with the City’s blight and nuisance abatement programs. The service request was closed out in Public Works' work order management system which in turn, automatically closed it in SeeClickFix.

Debris left on the parkway of a residence is a violation of the City's Municipal Code addressing property maintenance issues. The service request was closed by Public Works once the matter was referred to the Neighborhood Services Department, the department responsible for addressing property maintenance issues. We have opened a nuisance case on the subject property, and will issue a notice as required. Please be advised that property owners are given time to abate any cited violations before we take further action. Thanks for the replies. Wish there was a way to keep such an issue "open" or "acknowledged" until it is actually concluded, or else I think users will continue to be confused like me. Just a thought.
