The southern end of Flamewood Dr. has a large storm drain at the end, on both the east and west sides. On the east side only, the road is slightly lower just prior to that storm drain, than the entrance to the drain itself. Hence, the water collects at the junction of our own driveway and the road. In the winter, the water freezes and damages both the road and our own driveway. We cannot fix the road part, and it would do no good to try to fix our driveway unless the grade is remedied so that it slopes down into the storm drain.
