Description

The concrete barrier adjacent to the left turn lane from MLK Way southbound onto 52nd St eastbound is dangerously encroaching on the left turn lane itself. The way it is positioned now causes anyone making a left turn to be forced partially into the center lane of MLK Way before being able to turn left. The traffic light has green for left turn arrow at the same time as green for cars going straight, so cars making a left are getting very close to colliding with cars going straight because of the lack of space. This is multiple accidents waiting to happen, and I worry about it every time I make this left turn. PLEASE move the concrete construction barrier on the median side further toward the median - that will fix this completely while construction continues on MLK Way.
