College Boulevard, between Ridgeview and Renner, will be widened to 4 lanes as part of the KDOT Gateway project. This project is being funded by KDOT, as well as the cities of Olathe and Lenexa. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2014. Improvements include construction of a 4-lane divided arterial with curb and gutter, street lights, sidewalks, and other necessary components.
