Description
this spine (north/south corridor goes from the expressway service road to the north to suffolk ave to the south. it is about 2.5 miles long. on this road is the fire house of the east brentwood fire department. this road is like a washboard and needs to be resurfaced. it is unsafe for both driver and pedestrian alike . there are no sidewalks for this "spine" and the town of islip has all but abandoned this area to service their toney areas south of union street in islip.

Fulton St. from the LIE Dr. South to Suffolk Ave. is currently in the 2010 Road Improvement list. Please keep in mind that all road improvement program work is pending on both weather and budget restraints.
