It's been a while now since the flood that overflowed at Drakes Creek parks in Hendersonville. I have seen that the kids playground has been fixed as well as the tennis courts beside it. The vollyball courts have not been touched yet. Why???? I know alot of teen age kids go there in the summer. I believe that is a place for them to stay out of trouble and have fun with their friends. Families go there as well. I'm sure it don't cost much to get the courts up and running. Couple nets and sand is all you need. I just don't understand why you (the city) would only fix one side and not the other. It looks bad!!! Bad on the public officials who are there to serve the public but they can't fix our young peoples area for summer.

Seems the city has more on their plate than Volleyball courts, tennis courts and children's playgrounds at the moment.
They need to focus on getting the roads back in shape, clearing up the MOUNTAIN of financial problems that have piled up during the current administration and the other various issues that plague City Hall right now.
What ever happened to playing in your yard? Why should the city be responsible for extra-curricular activites?
