Description
Every holiday we have had this year the garbage collection trucks ALWAYS leave a pile of trash on Coronado Avenue and we have to look at it for a week and a half or two weeks before it is picked up. Since this past weekend the house on the corner of Ramada and Coronado have piled limbs all across the front of the property and the pile is about 10' high. Since the garbage collection did not attempt to collect any of this large pile of limbs and if the City is not going to collect this large pile then the property owners should be notified that they will have to pay to have the large pile removed. The pile of limbs also the blocks the Stop sign and causes a safety hazard at this intersection. This needs to be taken care of immediately and not wait 4 to 5 weeks as usual..

An inspector has checked out this property and it has been noted that the work being performed is contracted work in which we are not responsible for the pick up. The contractor and homeowner have both been notified of the policy and procedures. The contractor also has a dumpster on the property which they have been notified to start using to dispose of debris. Also their is no utility service being provided to this property so garbage/trash service is not being charged to the homeowner which does not obligate the Sanitation Department to collect.
Thank You for your concern.
