Description

The westbound lake shore traffic light at Parkside has recently become way too short, causing traffic backups during rush hour all the way to the Jameson on ramp (which is closed from 3pm to 6pm) The traffic light stays green for only 30sec, which is un-acceptable for a major artery out of the downtown. By example I've compared other intersections, and at Islington and Bloor the light stays green for over a minute. It seemed to be fixed, for about a week, then went back to the short 30sec light. This needs to be fixed, it causes a 30 min delay in people getting home. Once you pass the intersection, it's free an clear. I know this light was knocked over in late summer, maybe something happened to the programming. I have contacted 311, but no response or resolution. Please help.
Regards,
Brian Eimer
