I live in the neighborhood behind the Quick Check. While the phone pole does make it more difficult to turn onto Vestal Hills, it is not the problem. The posted speed limit through that portion of the road is 40 mph. However, not many people follow it. There are many accidents at the end of this road each year. If people were not in such a rush, this would be a safer area. I've had people waving their arms and flipping me off because I don't turn fast enough for them. It's really pathetic that people have become so impatient and rude.

The pole is an issue if your driving a commercial vehicle. This road design is one of the poorest I've seen and is a problem easily fixed by moving the pole or the roadway to the south side. I do agree that individuals do not know how to drive, I'm amazed at the idiocy I see every time I drive this particular road.

first of all, if you're driving a commercial vehicle, whittier is not the place to go. even though i've seen tractor trailers parked on streets in the development. but, if I was driving a commercial vehicle in the development, then i would utilize the links lane entrance. remember, there are two access points.

so, once again, the pole is NOT the problem. get over it!!!
