Sensor appears to be faulty. Light stays red unless vehicle moves to the right spot to trigger the light to change.

Yes that's correct. On more than one occasion. I have actually been at the red light so long I had to (safely) run it.
I have also been at the light with other cars as well. 3-4 of us just waiting at a red light in the early a.m. with no cross traffic. I have witnessed it change from green to red, and have pulled up to it in an red status.
