Thank you for taking swift action. While I do appreciate this service that the City provides, I'm afraid that it only encourages others to keep dumping illegally, knowing the city will eventually come and pick up the garbage. I hope the city cracks down on illegal dumping by placing cameras in repeat-offending areas.

This issue is definitely not closed. I don't know why the City said they resolved the issue when the couch is still in the same spot. I came back from vacation to find the couch still there. The picture below is from tonight 10/12/17. You can see someone decided to add to the pile with their abandoned dish network antenna. The longer this junk sits there the more it will become, and then it will be a bigger issue for the City to deal with. Not to mention this is a safety & liability issue since it is blocking part of the sidewalk. If someone in a wheelchair tried to get by, they would not be able to. They would have to go into the street and around the couch.
