Description
Every morning and afternoon drivers cut down Maple Ave to connect Route 50 with Route 9 quicker than sitting at the light. The speeds of the cars racing by the homes commonly has to exceed 50 miles an hour. The streets have no curbs and so cars often drive up on the lawns or slam the garbage cans etc on the grass. Many children and people walk on these sidewalks with no protection of a curb.

intersection at the Triangle Diner. Route 9 continues south as Marion Ave., up until it meets the arterial. That explains why the gas station located on that stretch is called Marion Ave. Mobil.

The Police monitored the street at 10 am. the only time it isn't really busy. You would think they would put a car out there at 8 am or 5 PM..
