Description
Manhole cover is recessed too deep into the road. As vehicles especially trucks run over the manhole cover a loud crashing sound occurs. It is so loud multiple residents in the neighboring apartments have complained of being awoken from sleep. Having been on the sidewalk adjacent to the manhole cover I can attest to the noise. When a truck pulling a trailer struck the cover It literally sounded as if a car crashed. It was a very frightening experience.

The problem will persist as long as nothing is done to remedy the situation. This manhole cover is the problem. Although not apparent in the picture it is recessed pretty deep creating a heck of a noise when ran over by trucks. Thanks!
