Please take a look at this section of Victory Blvd at the intersection of Kiln Creek. The sink hole in the center lan #2 lane is getting worse every week.

I called this in to Newport News a couple of months ago when it first started to slightly subside. I was advised by the lady that that spot was York co and that I needed to call them. I explained that I was driving, didn't have their number and why didn't she call them . She said I needed to report any road problems to them. I told her that it probably was a water cavity caused by a leaking main and when it finally caved in ate a car one day, somebody was going to get killed. Two weeks later one or the other slapped a load of asphalt on top of the depression. Great fix-NOT. It continues to get worse every day and now almost causes cars to loose control as they drive along at 40-50 MPH. It is becoming a bigger lawsuit every day that they dawdle.

Report it to VDOT. It's not in Newport News so therefore whoever you talked to is right. It's not something they can fix.
