Gosh. 22nfolks hyave "vied this sidewalk cave-in. The longer y'all wait, the deeper it is gonna get, and thus more expenxive to fix. Not to mention the trip hazard, which I have observed several times, tho no reportable injuries that I jow of. Let us not jave any. Any forecast "Fix Date"??
A Phoenix Ironworks drain in the street in front of my house (61 Glen Eden Avenue) has apparently sunk and caused a nine-foot section of the sidewalk in front of my house to buckle and heave. This is an extreme hazard for the foot traffic on the street, as well as people who have to maneuver over it with wheelchairs. I myself at age 84 do have some difficulty with gait and balance. I put down caution tape, but it wore off rapidly from foot traffic. I know to be careful but many people from the Piedmont Avenue Elementary School (teachers, children, and families) park on the street and use this sidewalk. It needs to be repaired as soon as possible for the safety of the neighborhood.
