I am confused by this seemingly helpful site, because I am in the TOWN OF SMITHTOWN with a Hauppauge address and this app tells me there is no watch area for my area but TOWN OF SMITHTOWN is indeed who should be NOTIFIED here.

Large amounts of water collect at this driveway's apron due, in part, to a poor grade on the slope down the street to the sewer grate. This is a breeding ground for mosquitoes during the spring and summer as even sprinkler water collects and when it rains it is there for a solid week.

This issue has been brought to the attention of Smithtown Highway Department on several occasions dating back YEARS. This includes when I spoke face to face with Town workers correcting a grade directly across the street from this address to no avail.

I am reporting this on behalf of my neighbor who has pretty much given up on it ever being corrected. I would appreciate the Smithtown Highway Department to address this issue. It wouldn't take more than an hour to scrape and then pave the area properly.
