historical information regarding previous repairs done to the road near 1447 and 1450 Excelsior in 2016/2015 time frame were:

And if you look at the photo taken in issue ID 2414041 you can see this crack from April 20, 2016

This street is basically a third world country dilapidated street. Yet again this street is being complained about. For what the fourth year in a row!! really this is a waste of tax payers money to basically patch it!!! Why wast our money?? Really, I am down to really!!! Terrible waste to do a cr**py patch jobs!!! Really I don't understand the stupidity of it?? Why can't just be repaved??? I don't even drive down it. I am NOT going to replace my axle for the 4th time of the necessary street.

Wow, what a mess. I've driven over this deteriorated section many times. If I forget to drive around it, it
is an extremely jarring experience and it is hard to control my car.

Excelsior *was* repaved just a few years ago.

I suspect that the new problems are sewer collapses, either privately owned sewer lateral, or EBMUD collapses.

Of course, it makes sense to repair the sewer before the street is repaved, rather than after.

The same pothole had been reported in November, 2016, and closed twice by the city, even though no work was done on it.

Due to the danger to cyclists, this issue is being submitted to Oakland as a "TOP 10" for immediate attention under an agreement with the Bike East Bay Hazard Elimination program.
