Description
Turning east off of Fordham Blvd to East 54 is a yield right of way lane...but, most drivers don't realize this and they stop. Can those traffic "cone-like" barriers be installed on that lane so that drivers better realize that it's a protected lane so that they can stop impeding traffic? There is a sign telling them this, but it's poorly placed and not seen because drivers are paying attention to the slow-down and traffic instead of looking at the sign that is placed too early in the upcoming turn. Perhaps the sign could be moved to the same location instead of the confusing yield sign? Yield indicates that it's not a protected turn...please replace that and add the barriers...and, I believe, better traffic flow will ensue.
Thanks very much for looking at this.
