Description

The turn lane indicator arrows painted on N. Lexington St. (on the north side of Lee Highway) are very confusing. There are two lanes at the intersection with Lee - the left lane has an indicator arrow showing that it is for cars that want to go straight OR turn left. The right lane is indicated as a right turn only. Nowhere else have I seen arrows painted in such a way - it is always the opposite (right lane is straight or right turn), left lane is left turn only). This is just common sense and would also help to move cars crossing Lee on N. Lexington in a much more efficient manner. Currently, cars driving north on Lexington waiting to turn left on Lee are overly cautious since they don't know if cars in the oncoming direction will go left (thus allowing them time to also turn left onto Lee) or if they're going straight. Please repaint the arrows in a common sense manner.
