There were two accidents in one evening at the intersection of Charles St. and Monument Ave. Since we have been living in this neighborhood for two years, we have seen dozens here. People also drive extremely fast down Charles St. to cut through from Monument Ave. to Patterson Ave. Something really needs to be done - a light, or continuing the median across Monument or even speed bumps on Charles St, so people stop using it as a cut through street. There were lines painted in the median at Monument/Charles to try to help direct the turning, but it hasn't helped at all. No one knows how to turn here. It is a huge problem.
