If Public Works & Engineering classifies your request as a Pothole, then it will be repaired, provided the weather permits and the ground is neither too cold nor too wet. If they determine that damage to the street is more extensive than a pothole, then the case will be addressed differently.
We will inform you when the damage is repaired and if your case is elevated.

Why was my Service Request Closed?
Most likely, your request was Closed for one of these reasons:
(1) The work is complete, or an inspector determined that the problem is within tolerances.
(2) The request was Closed and another, more appropriate, SR was Opened.
(3) The request was referred to an outside agency, such as ATT, CenterPoint Energy, Harris County, TXDoT, etc.
(4) The request is a duplicate. Someone else has reported the problem. Please visit the 311 website at Houston311.org and enter the address in the "Find Address or Cases" box in the Service Request Map.
(5) The request had insufficient information to investigate, or the Address failed to Validate.
I will contact city of Houston today and update status.
I just spoke with COH service representative and she mentioned the case was closed. I have not been out there myself to verify but if you could let me know it has been repaired, that would be great and I will then close this order. Thanks Hung!
