Transportation Department staff have completed 24-hour speed studies on 28th Avenue N between 17th & Queen Streets. The average operating speeds were 23 MPH both east and west bound.
The speed hump between 16th and 17th Street was modified during utility work and does not meet our minimum standard profile. I have therefore issued a work order to have the profile of the hump corrected. This should help to address the few vehicles that are speeding.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
