This graffiti is still there. Going on two months.

HI Bremerton Guy! Good News! The City is now giving out FREE Graffiti Kits at the Mayor's request, to allow concerned citizens like yourself to assist us in keeping the City looking it's best. We have had numerous volunteers stop by Public Works to pick up these kits. You are correct, the sooner the graffiti is addressed, the easier it is to clean off. Hello Bremerton 1. Thank you for a reminder on the graffiti kits. I received a kit back when the program started and used it with limited success. I used it again recently and will shortly post new issues along with before and after photos. In short, the wipes provided with the kits work well on smooth surfaces, such as the blue city light stands with glossy blue paint. They do not work, however, on rough surfaces, such as brick walls or textured paint. Also, sometimes the graffiti is so large as to be impossible to clean by hand. Pressure washers are the only solution for those graffitis and the city or property owner must take care of those. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, you are correct, the wipes are ineffective on rough or porous surfaces and even pressure washing is limited in its effectiveness.
