Description

The NY Route 7 high-speed Expressway does not have consistent guardrails between the lanes that will stop vehicles from traveling into oncoming lanes. There has been a sharp increase in the number of fatalities and injuries along this extremely busy, overcrowded highway during the past few years.

This stretch of highway from Latham, NY to Troy, NY needs to have concrete barriers installed in the median, which would lessen the chance that motorists will be struck by other vehicles in oncoming lanes.
