Description
Proper pedestrian crossing signs are desperately needed across Shore Drive at Red Tide Road. There is an existing crossing walk, but no signs on Shore Drive to remind the vehicular traffic that they should stop for pedestrians. I was just in Northern Virginia and there were flashing "Pedestrian Crossing" signs before every crossing and this seemed to provide much safer crossing. I often see people dash in and out of traffic because the cars will not stop. This seems very dangerous both for the many pedestrians and vehicles that drive on this 35 MPH road.
